I would go to China first - shanghai then Beijing - then go over to Mongolia...then russia...then fly back to Japan. All thsoe other countries sound cscary :)
I know someone who goes to Vietnam a lot and he highly recommends it. I've seen some stuff on the Travel channel, and it looks pretty cool/good food.
